Agricultural company „Delikatesas“
Agricultural company „Delikatesas“, the producer of the highest quality meat products, is one of the earliest established meat processing companies in Northern Lithuania. Joniškis land, where „Delikatesas“ is established, is already a long time famous for its meat processing traditions. Written sources reveal that a meat processing workshop was operating in Joniškis since 1937. The name of the company changed over time. However its main activity remained the same. Most of the products in our assortment are produced following long and carefully created unique recipes, maintained by our company employees working in the company for many years. It is they who are part of the chain without which the end result is unimaginable.
The number of employees has increased proportionally since the company was founded. Today, the company employs 217 people, whose dedication, qualification; ,long and meticulous work is the guarantee of the final product quality.
Since old times, the company stands out efforts to keep a particularly close relationship with customers and raw materials suppliers. This not only guarantees the quality of the products, but also satisfies the rapidly changing needs of the customers. By communicating directly with our customers, today we have a great understanding of what they will need tomorrow.
With the rapid growth of fast consumption, when the consumer no longer wants to waste unnecessary time in the kitchen, the company has invested in the most innovative equipment – the most powerful slicing machine in the Baltic States, for efficient slicing and pre-packaging of different meat products, different diameter sausages. It has a capacity of 130kg / h to 700kg / h for various sliced products.
Today the range of “Delikatesas” products is especially wide. The majority of the products are made of high quality non – frozen raw materials. We offer our customers a variety of products made both of usual and more rare and exclusive meats, such as venison or horsemeat. It is important to mention that our products are exclusive by one more aspect – they include natural spices and additives. We do not add any inadmissible substances to our products and we only use natural additives to make our products. By working thoroughly and patiently for many years, AC “Delikatesas” has gained acknowledgement and trust of its customers. The company constantly participates in exhibitions and product launches organized in the EU.
In the contest Lithuanian Product of the Year, “Delikatesas” constantly earns the highest awards. Today, “Delikatesas” delicacies are well known not only in Lithuania, but also in Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, Poland and Latvia.
